When you look at the living conditions of these millions of innocent creatures in Spain, you get chills. The conditions in most accommodations are desolate. The animals are kept unworthy of life, miserable and often brutal, beaten, kicked, sometimes left to starve. But also in other European countries, which should actually be a civilized society, the animals are mostly still miserable in many run-down animal shelters or rather animal cruelty. AND WHY?? Because the municipalities, the governments are NOT willing to release money for the welfare of the animals or they pay animal abusers, perfidious businessmen who finance their lives with the misery of the animals by taking the dogs and cats off the streets. WHY does the EU community in Brussels allow such a perfidious mess as in Italy and elsewhere? Are there only indifferent and heartless, callous politicians in Parliament who just don't care about animal welfare??

It just amazes me what kind of society our children are growing up in.
I urge anyone who reads my post not to knowingly condone animal cruelty. If all animal lovers would do MORE, donate more money, the world's many animal rights activists could do a lot more to protect innocent beings.

We fight for more protection, more love, more species-appropriate attitudes in our environment. And we already have a lot to do with that.
But I wish that the next generation does better, has more compassion, more fairness, more decency and more morals than our generation. That the next generation will do MORE to protect innocent beings, be they dogs or cats, or innocent children who are still being abused, abused and killed. Humanity is becoming more and more brutal. But WE all have it in our hands to change something here. Back to more humanity.
